A passion for the water

Hi, I’m Zeemon and I think I might be in love with the sea! Be it coasteering, swimming, snorkelling or sailing, it’s a great passion of mine.

I started Coasteering.Fun back in 2021 with a great friend of mine and after he moved on to other adventures I’ve been the captain of the ship! I am lucky to have a great team of friends that I work with me to help me share my love for the sea.

I hold guiding qualifications in all manner of different things, from the obvious Coasteering Guide qualification from the NCC, I also have guiding qualifications in rock climbing, hill walking, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing, skiing, snowboarding… erm… there are probably one or two I’ve forgotten. What I can say for sure is that Coasteering is my absolute favourite though and that probably shows!

The thing I love most about Coasteering is watching people overcome their own challenges, if that’s touching seaweed, or swimming in the sea or doing their first jump, it’s just magic to see the smile that they come away with.

An Amazing Experience

The coastline we’ll explore is genuinely one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. The sea looking out to the islands of Rum and Eigg past the beautiful mountain fringed Ardnish Peninsula is such an incredible place to share with people every week. It’s a bit of an honour really.

Coming on an adventure with us will leave you buzzing for the rest of the day! To say nothing of the mental health and wellbeing benefits that come hand in hand with being in the sea.

Coasteering is a brilliant wet weather activity, and if anything a little bit of that Scottish “summer weather” just adds to the fun! (oh and the midges won’t follow you into the waves)

Our Core Values

No matter if you’re 10 or 110 a thrill seeker or a rock pooler there is something brilliant waiting for you out there! Our sessions are intentionally kept small with a ratio of six people to one guide so that we can be sure and look after you well.

We pride ourselves on our challenge-by-choice ethos. In simple terms there are no must-do elements  to our sessions. You decide how much you want to challenge yourself! We’re dedicated to making sure that all abilities get to enjoy the beautiful Highland Coastline where we run our sessions. And we’re not very invested in giving people a new phobia of the sea either!

The feeling of being in the sea, and exploring the marine environment is just one of the best things ever, and we can’t wait to share that with you!

If you do have any questions before you book, please drop us a message, we love to hear from you!
